MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A Miami Beach Police officer is under investigation after he appeared in uniform during the filming of what the police department has determined to be an inappropriate video, which was later posted on Instagram.

Investigators were made aware of the video that was posted to the social media platform, Monday night, WSVN reported.

Miami Beach Police Department released a statement regarding the officer’s presence in the video:

“On Monday, October 7, the Department was made aware of a video posted to social media. Chief Richard Clements immediately launched an Internal Affairs investigation and placed Officer William Beeker in an administrative capacity while the investigation takes its course.”

After the women thank him in the video, the Miami Beach police officer said, “No problem. Enjoy the community I like to protect and serve. Have a good day, ladies.”
