The annual Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show and Conference (SHOT Show) has become a huge draw for law enforcement officers looking for the latest in firearms, equipment and technology. This year SHOT convenes in Las Vegas Feb. 2–5, and expert trainer Officer Robert Hindi will present three seminars on the Hindi Duty Belt S.A.F.E.T.Y. System, which teaches safe and strategic duty-belt equipment placement and positioning. Hindi will demonstrate a variety of duty-belt do’s and don’ts, challenging the traditional mindset of putting equipment wherever it fits.
A 19-year veteran of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, noted use-of-force trainer and expandable-baton instructor, Hindi is acclaimed for introducing the Hindi Baton Cap and for his duty-belt equipment organization system. Says Ken Murray, Law Officer’s Reality Based Training columnist, “The more I reviewed Hindi’s system and the more I reflected on many of the difficulties trainees had due to equipment management issues, the more it made sense Hindi’s system could help officers access their life-saving tools in the most efficient manner.”
Plan now to challenge the effectiveness of your duty-belt setup with Hindi at SHOT. For info on other seminars offered at SHOT, visit www.shotshow.com, and click on “Retailer and Law Enforcement Seminars” in the menu bar.
