California Teen Reported With A Rifle Fatally Shot By Police

Police responding to reports of a man armed with a rifle shot and killed a 19-year-old California man who was apparently unarmed Saturday afternoon, according to KGPE.

The Fresno Police Department said two officers attempted to pull over Dylan Noble as he drove his pickup truck round 3:20 p.m. Saturday, but Noble did not stop his vehicle for about half a mile.

Noble stopped his car at a Chevron gas station, and police said he then got out of his car with one of his arms behind his back, according to the Fresno Bee. The officers said that Noble yelled that he hated his life, before moving his arm toward the small of his back, the newspaper reports.

Two officers opened fire, striking Noble four times. Noble died later at a nearby hospital.

No weapon was found at the scene, according to police.

The two officers involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave.
