West Virginia State Police have released the name of both the suspect and the troopers that was shot during the response to a domestic situation.
WSAZ reports that Jeremiah Yeager is the suspect and he will be charged with attempted murder of a police officer.
Cpl. David Fry is the state trooper who was shot in the incident.
Cpl. Fry was shot in the shoulder, hand and leg.
Yeager tried to hide a hand gun and got into a struggle with troopers when they arrested him. He was later taken in to custody.
Cpl. Fry was taken to a local hospital after being shot and underwent surgery Tuesday morning. His injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
