Oklahoma starting quarterback and Heisman Trophy finalist Baker Mayfield was arrested in Fayetteville (AR) late Friday night.
The Sooners senior is facing charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, fleeing and resisting arrest.

A Fayetteville police officer was notified about Mayfield’s behavior in an intersection and while speaking with him, the Oklahoma quarterback was said to be “yelling profanities and was causing a scene.” Mayfield reportedly had trouble walking down stairs, had slurred speech, and at one point ran from the police.
The Big 12 Quarterback that has thrown for 88 touchdowns in his career was chased and tackled by law enforcement before being arrested.
