A Florida man spent 90 days in jail after cops mistook drywall powder for cocaine.
Oviedo police stopped Karlos Cashe for driving without headlights in March.
The officers found a white powder in the car, tested it and charged Cashe with cocaine possession.
Last week the lab results determined that the powder in the handyman’s car was actually drywall.
“I know for a fact (that) it’s drywall because I’m a handyman,” Cashe told WFTV. “I said that continuously during the arrest stop.”
Fox News reports that Cashe was on probation for marijuana and cocaine charges which kept him from bonding out of jail as he waited for the lab tests.
