A local Black Lives Matter chapter in Stockton, California, has claimed responsibility for a disgusting prank pulled on a police officer.
Originally deemed by both Starbucks and local police as a hoax story, the incident began when a photo was posted to an anti-cop Facebook page called “Stockton Police Department, Corruption Reporting Page”.

The picture showed one of the department’s officers posing with his family along with the caption, “We are happy to report that today this officer from the Stockton Police Department got to have coffee at Starbucks…served with a side of spit. They even gave it to him with a smile and a nice comment.”
Despite being called out to investigate the incident on Wednesday night, officers said they found no evidence confirming the authenticity of the allegations.
Starbucks also released a statement denying the alleged prank, “We are proud of our relationship with the Stockton Police Department, who initially notified us of this rumor. We can confirm there is absolutely no truth to this post, and we are disappointed with the suggestion.”
And yet, members of the Black Lives Matter Stockton chapter eagerly told Fox40 off-camera that the prank did, in fact, occur, writing, “It really happened…we gave you all the proof we could without throwing someone under the bus.”
The “someone” they’re referring to is an anonymous barista at the Starbucks that they claim spat in the cup and then notified them about it.
The BLM chapter also claimed that a separate diner in Stockton also makes a tradition out of spitting in officers’ food, while also warning Fox40 that members of the media could also be targets.
Black Lives Matter has been known throughout 2016 to incite violence, commit violence and demand outrageous items such as wanting police away from the schools. They called law enforcement “pigs” and supported Fidel Castro and have even advocated to get rid of police. They interrupted a moment of silence for fallen officers during the DNC Convention and made the claim that “Blue Lives Don’t Matter.” The FBI Director says they are uninformed and a former Sheriff calls them a hate group.
We believe that many of the local activists are good people that genuinely have an interest in making law enforcement better but the national agenda is getting in their way. As long as the national platform says what it says and we continue to see activity as we noted above, we doubt that anyone claiming allegiance with BLM will ever be taken seriously.
