A man was fatally shot by San Bernardino (CA) officers Monday morning after he allegedly stabbed a woman when a Taser that was deployed on him failed to work, police said.
They first tried to subdue him with non-lethal force.
The officers used a taser on the suspect and he then started to stab the victim.
At that point, police fired an unknown amount of times on the man.
He was transported with life-threatening injuries and later died at the hospital. Authorities have not identified him.
The female victim sustained a stab wound to the abdomen and was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
