CNN is making a desperate attempt to flame the hatred against law enforcement and the ideological war on cops by citing a study that is so flawed, you would have to have no sense to even think it has substance.
The headline, “Black men nearly 3 times as likely to die from police use of force, study says” does not even mention crime rates which is the largest predictor of police use of force.

At best, the study is irresponsible and at worse it is simply fake news.
So with that said, we thought we would put just a little context on the latest assault against a fine profession.
As long as mind numbing sheep continue to use the population rates to call police racists, they will always have data on their side. This is not unique to law enforcement. Look at healthcare, home ownership or bank loan rates. Will you find these statistics directly correlated with population rates?
Of course not but then again whats the fun in protesting a Bank or a Hospital when you can go nuts against those sworn to protect you?
The answer to all of these issues is there are deep seeded economic and educational issues that drive everything and that includes who is more likely to encounter law enforcement.
According to the National Review, “Black males between the ages of 14 and 17 commit homicide at 10 times the rate of white and Hispanic male teens combined. Black males between the ages of 18 and 24 commit homicide at 9.3 times the rate of white and Hispanic males of the same age. The elevated black death-by-homicide rate is overwhelmingly a function of the astronomical black homicide-commission rate; in fact, a much smaller proportion of black homicide victims (4 percent) die from police shootings than the white and Hispanic homicide victims (12 percent) who die from police shootings……The elevated black violent-crime rate is responsible for the fact that blacks overall are three times as likely to die from police shootings as whites are. That disparity is actually less than what black violent-crime rates would predict.
In other words, the incidence of violent crime is what is driving the incidence of police interactions that can lead to officer use of force.
Over the last decade, black males made up 42 percent of all cop killers whose race is known, though they are only 6 percent of the nation’s population. A police officer is more than 18 times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.
Indeed, there are some serious issues in the black community when it comes to crime. Blacks and more specifically black males (6% of the population) commit over half of America’s Homicides and commit violent crime at a much higher rate than their population.
You won’t see those facts in media outlets such as CNN and we aren’t making them up. If you don’t like it, call the Department of Justice. They have been publishing offender data for decades.
In short, it is not the fault of law enforcement that they are much more likely to come into contact with certain races more because those races are committing crimes against victims (of typically the same race) and those victims need the police to help make their neighborhoods safer.
You see, Black Lives Matter to law enforcement and that is why we will continue to respond, investigate and arrest violent criminals that prey on the black community and if that gives CNN something to talk about, so be it!
