Watch Police Empty A Magazine On Suspect After Police Chief Is Shot

Police Bodycam video was released this week showing the moments a suspect opened fire on officers responding to a domestic dispute in Orange County (NY). The town’s police chief was wounded before the suspect died in the exchange of fire.

The bodycam footage was recorded while officers stormed the barricaded suspect, identified as 28-year-old Anthony Bostick, who was reportedly holed up at his ex-girlfriend’s Maybrook apartment.Chief Arnold “Butch” Amthor was shot around 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, after he and four other officers had entered the third-floor apartment on Abbey Avenue.

Chief Amthor is the full-time police chief in Montgomery and part-time chief in Maybrook.

Maybrook is 70 miles northwest of New York City and has a population of 3,000.
