President Trump Pardons Sheriff Joe Arpaio

President Donald Trump granted a presidential pardon to former Maricopa County, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio Friday.

Arpaio was convicted in July of criminal contempt for defying a federal court order to stop detaining individuals suspected of being in the country illegally. The former Arizona sheriff is known for his tough-on-crime stance and supported Trump during the presidential campaign.

Trump hinted at the pardon during a Tuesday rally in Phoenix where he said: “So was Sheriff Joe convicted for doing his job? I’ll make a prediction. I think he’s going to be just fine. Okay?”

The White House praised Arpaio’s career of service in a statement and said: “Throughout his time as Sheriff, Arpaio continued his life’s work of protecting the public from the scourges of crime and illegal immigration.  Sheriff Joe Arpaio is now eighty-five years old, and after more than fifty years of admirable service to our Nation, he is worthy candidate for a Presidential pardon.”

Trump did the right thing! Sheriff Joe is a beloved Sheriff of Maricopa County and was targeted by Obama’s thugs.

Beloved or not, Arpaio broke the law by targeting latinos for nothing else than being Latino. Trump, with this act, just reinforces the narrative that he is bigoted. A narrative that unfortunately seems true.

Wrong, they were not stopped randomly. They committed a violation of the law. Every single one of them. The Mormon Judge got his orders from the open-border policy of the LDS Church. They wanted to convert the illegals and get their hard earned money by demanding tithings. Nothing new here. The Sheriff did nothing but enforce AZ and Federal law. Get your facts straight. Trump is not a bigot, you can’t be that shallow. Stay away from CNN. Trump will be rated the best President by history. You will see.

It would be nice, for a least one moment, to have a debate with someone that knows their facts. You don’t, otherwise Arpaio wouldn’t have been convicted of contempt of court for violating a judges order to stop racially profiling Latinos. His department created saturation units specifically designed to target Latino members of the community, using legal and illegal stops so they could check immigration status’s. A judge ruled these tactics were illegal, but he continued them anyway. This guy deserved conviction and some jail time. Furthermore, this lame assed sheriff cost tax payers of his county over $140 million to resolve civil suits and the like because of his rogue agency’s misconduct. It’s unfortunate that the voters preferred to elect a clown instead of someone interested in enforcing the law fairly.

And we would still like to see him as Sheriff. Screw the bias judge and his minions in Salt Lake City. He never racially profiled anyone.
