NJ Blue Now has announced Jonathan Smith as their Man of the Year. Smith, a civilian, was responsible for saving the lives of 30 people during the Las Vegas shooting in October.
Smith was shot in the neck but continued saving lives until off duty San Diego Police Officer Tom McGrath came to his aid.
NJBlueNow is a magazine that provides an unfiltered and independent voice to all of New Jersey’s Law Enforcement Officers.
Appearing on Fox News Tuesday morning alongside Officer McGrath, Smith said that he has been welcomed to the family of law enforcement and is appreciative of his “new family.”
