LAPD Officer To Run Marathon In Full Tactical Gear

An officer with the Los Angeles Police Department will run the Los Angeles Marathon in full tactical gear.  She is doing it to support the Badge of the Heart organization.

Officer Kristina Tudor weighs 115 pounds and will be carrying an extra 35 pounds over the course of the 26.2 mile run.

Challenges are nothing new to Tudor.  Last year she competed in the same marathon for a different cause and but only wore her police uniform.

She has taken it to the next level in 2016 and hopes to raise $25,000 for Badge of Heart through a GoFundMe account.

The L.A. Marathon is scheduled to run February 14th and we will report back on how Tudor did.

We expect her to do great and on behalf of Law Officer, thank you Kristina for making us all proud.
