Deputy Dies Following Motorcycle Crash

The Gadsden County (FL) Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of one of its own after 27-year-old Deputy Maximilian “Max” Sander died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash that occurred in May.

A vehicle violated Sanders’ right-of way as he was riding a motorcycle.

A GoFundMe account was set up to raise money for his recovery.

“Deputy Sander was a model employee who cared about those he protected, served and worked with,” Sheriff Morris Young said.
