In 2010, University of Florida Lt. Stacy Ettel was at the top of the law enforcement profession. He was highly trained, highly trusted and embedded into the University of Florida Athletic Department at all levels.
He had escorted Tim Tebow and other athletes. He stood by Coach Urban Meyer while winning a National Championship. Life was incredible until one fateful day in March 2010.
That day and the years that followed inspired Stacy to form the first non-profit of it’s kind.
The Law Enforcement Advocacy Network (L.E.A.N.) is designed to tell the stories and defend those police officers that were sacrificed for political correctness.
Stacy launched the organization in Tulsa (OK) with Law Officer. Here is a local story on the efforts. Special thanks to KOTV and Reporter Lori Fullbright.
