Image: Not Actual Restaurant
Police spokesman Sergeant Marc Povero reports that a Fort Worth Police Department patrol supervisor went into Wendy’s at Trail Lake Drive and Interstate 20 in southwest Fort Worth and as he walked to the counter, the employees turned their backs and walked to the back of the kitchen. The employees stayed in the back and wouldn’t take his order.
The officer was the only person in the restaurant at the time, and the drive-through employee made eye contact with him and didn’t help him.
The police department posted some of the information on Twitter late Thursday, tweeting directly at the Wendy’s account.
Wendy’s has not commented.
As we have often discussed here, the only segment of society treated in this fashion and much of it is accepted is the police officer. Do you not believe us? Well, this is likely the first place you saw this story. Imagine if a black family walked into a restaurant and the employees did this to them?
Can you imagine that? That would be horrendous and it would also draw the attention of every media outlet in the country including the Department of Justice.
In this case, involving a police officer, the company will apologize, maybe fire someone, and it’s over and all the while you will likely never see the story anywhere but here.
Welcome to the new discrimination in America.
