More than crops are growing in remote Union County (Ohio) fields. Hatred for the law is also sprouting up.
The message is displayed loud and clear on signs posted on a retired 65-year-old man’s Boundary Road lawn in Richwood. They read:
- “A good cop is a dead cop.”
- “Make American great again – support your local cop killer.”
The signs were spotted and posted to social media on Wednesday night. They were ran over by a car shortly after that.
The man called the Union County Sheriff’s Office for help and with the hopes of authorities finding the person(s) responsible for the vandalism. The dispatcher told the man to be patient as deputies were handling other calls.
“They don’t give a [expletive] about me. That’s the way it’s always been,” the man said, who then called 9-1-1 three more times. “I ain’t putting up with this [expletive].”
Deputies then went to his home where they calmed him down.
