Two teenagers have been accused of killing a man after he helped them get their car out of ditch Monday night in South Carolina.
Deon Antonio Frasier, 17, and Michael Odell Anthony Dupree-Tyler, 19, face murder charges regarding the death of 45 year old Chadwick Garrett, the man who stopped to help them, reports The Post and Courier. They were denied bond at their hearing Tuesday night.
According to arrest affidavits, a witness asked Garrett to help the teenagers get their car out of a ditch. Witnesses claim that Garrett said he would help them remove the car for $20.
When Garrett asked about the $20, authorities said that Frasier took out his gun and shot Garrett multiple times, hitting him in the chest. Afterwards, Frasier got in the car and Dupree- Tyler drove them away.
