The New York Daily News report that an NYPD computer technician was arrested for selling officers’ personal information.
Idahosa Ighodaro, 37, is accused of dealing data — including Social Security numbers — to a confidential informant in November and December of last year, according to court papers.

Ighodaro gave his buyer a thumb drive with sensitive information on 4,760 NYPD officers and job applicants on November 25th.
On December 24th the client asked for dirt on specific officers, according to the criminal complaint filed on Jan. 4.
At a meeting inside Essence Bar on Atlantic Ave. in Crown Heights, on Dec. 27, Ighodaro sold one officer’s info for $300 – and said he would hike the price up to $3,000 each for identifying information on two more officers.
Ighodaro is charged with grand larceny, possession of stolen property and official misconduct.
