DETROIT – Detroit police said Monday that the 6th precinct station where four officers were shot Jan. 23 will be closed to the public until further notice.
Police said the station will be closed due to heating and ventilation problems.
Officers will still report to work at the station, but it will be closed to the public, police said.
Police said residents should report to the 10th precinct station at 12000 Livernois Avenue and the 12th precinct station at 1442 Seven Mile Road.
The station is at 11450 Warwick Street near Plymouth Road.
