State and local police spent Saturday night searching for a Virginia Tech student missing since Oct. 17 but have turned up no major leads.
State police spokeswoman Corinne Geller said troopers and university police spent eight hours on foot in Charlottesville on Saturday night, passing out fliers with pictures of 20-year-old Morgan Dana Harrington of Roanoke.
Harrington's photograph was also shown during the University of Virginia football game Saturday on the stadium's jumbotron.
Geller said that despite conversations with several people, nothing significant came of Saturday's efforts.
Harrington was last seen near a Metallica concert she was attending in Charlottesville with friends. She had gone outside and was denied reentry by arena policy.
