NEW YORK (AP) — Six people, including two police officers and a pedestrian, were treated at a hospital after a Staten Island accident.
The Staten Island Advance (http://bit.ly/v7j8sS ) say officers responding to a 911 call collided with another vehicle while making a U-turn on Tuesday afternoon.
The victims' injuries were described as minor.
The force of the impact caused both front tires to fly off the mangled police cruiser. It landed on a sidewalk next to a bus shelter.
The other damage vehicle came to a halt nearby.
