HYDE PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Police are resuming their search for two men who went missing when their canoe capsized on the Hudson River last week.
Hyde Park Police Chief Eric Paolilli says the search for the two local men is scheduled to resume Wednesday morning, with a state police boat again using side-scan sonar in their effort.
Paolilli said the search was suspended Monday and Christmas Day because of a lack of available manpower.
Police say 31-year-old Barrett Raymond of Hyde Park, 26-year-old Baylin Coddington of Millbrook and 29-year-old Michael Mauer of Hyde Park were in a canoe when it capsized early Friday morning a few miles north of Poughkeepsie.
Mauer swam to shore and called police.
