EL PASO, Texas — El Paso police made an unexpected delivery Tuesday night at a Lower Valley police station.
Two officers at the Mission Valley Regional Command Center, 9011 Escobar, helped a woman deliver a baby inside her car at 10:19 p.m. Tuesday.
The woman's husband alerted the officers after driving to the police station to ask for help when he realized his wife was about to give birth, police said.
The officers instructed her to push and helped her give birth safely, police said. The woman and the baby were taken to an area hospital in good condition.
