POST FALLS, IDAHO– Buck Knives has effectively combined the style and feel of their legendary 112 Ranger folder with a streamlined full-tang 3-1/8” skinning blade to create the new Model 113 Ranger Skinner. The result is a smaller knife that has plenty of blade to meet the needs of hunters who prefer compact knives.
Originally designed as a Limited Edition for Buck's exclusive line with the Boone and Crockett Club, with appeal for both collectors and hunters, response was so strong it led to creation of this more affordable production model. With its handcrafted, contoured Macassar ebony handle and rich brass bolsters, it still is a stylish knife, and the handle has an integrated lanyard hole.
The hollow-ground blade is made of Buck's time-tested 420HC stainless steel and brought to an ideal hardness of Rc 58 by Buck's proprietary heat treat process, so it holds an edge and is corrosion-resistant.
Overall, the 113 Ranger is 7-1/4” and weighs 5.2 oz. It comes in a black genuine leather sheath. Made in the USA and backed by Buck's respected Forever Warranty, the 113 Ranger Skinner fixed-blade has a suggested retail of $80.
